For print on demand and dropshipping business, there are many focus areas from niche selection, designs, company registration, order fulfilment, accounting to profitability.
These best practices pin points do and don’ts for each of the focus areas in your dropshipping business. Also outlines the terms of working with Qikink.
Print on Demand
We use Direct to garment Digital printing method for all our cotton apparel styles. It has some specific fabric and design file requirements.
In cotton apparels, the printing charges for white apparels are charged less. In dark garments, a white layer is printed first and then CMYK is printed. So the charges doubles for color apparels.
Minimum charges for printing applicable for smaller print sizes
We ensure to get optimum screen printing like output for all our printed apparels, but in very few cases there may be small whites seen which is not totally avoidable.
All clothing products are subject to measurement variation upto half inch per side. As all the apparel styles are stitched by human this is unavoidable, but with strict quality guidelines and systems we keep this to very minimum.
Our prints on cotton apparels are to withstand around 30 washes when washing instructions are followed which are Cold Wash, Tumble Dry, Dry in shade, Do not wring and Do not bleach.
All 100% cotton garments are shrinkable upto 3-4% as international quality standard. We maintain all our apparel styles well within this limit.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY
Qikink works on to dispatch all the orders placed within 2-3 working days. The day in which order is placed is counted when its placed before 12 noon.
We made a very efficient production line over time to handle the process effectively incase of sudden surge of orders. We also have partial and full refund of orders in place when there is more delays in dispatching the order. You can contact support team with the order number to know about the same.
We transfer an order to “Action Required” status when there is no sufficient data to process an order. You will get email and sms for the same. You should act on that immediately to timely processing of orders.
Any claim on dispatched item has to be made within 30 days of delivered date. No claims whatsoever will not be accepted beyond this time.
We work with third party couriers companies like FedEx, Delhivery, Bluedart, ECom Express and Software Solutions like Shiprocket etc for our logistics operations.
For any delay/error in shipment delivery, we have an automatic escalation system which can be escalated by you from your email. You can contact our support team as well and we will escalate it for you to get it delivered.
But there may be reasons like partner errors, customer refusing the shipment, not picking call, expecting delayed delivery repeatedly for return to origin (RTO) of shipments. Qikink cannot be held responsible for this. However, we assure we will take our best of efforts to get all orders delivered.
International shipment to certain countries may attract extra customs duty from customers, which has to be borne by your customers.
Qikink offers both prepaid and Cash on Delivery courier services to all pin codes in India. Charges for remote areas which can be served only through India Post will be higher and will be deducted accordingly.
Courier delays in certain areas may happen in uncontrollable ways due to natural calamities, city lockdown, bandh, local festival etc.
Qikink accepts payments in online mode to the wallet. In online mode, you pay using credit/debit card or UPI and it automatically adds to the wallet.
COD Remittance to be added to wallet by default, you can change this in the settings page. Timeline for COD bank remittance is 7 working days and for wallet remittance is 4 working days.
If customer pays in Cash on delivery for a prepaid order by mistake, we do not get that amount from courier companies and hence cannot pay you for the same.
Any refunds whatsoever will be made in the form of wallet credits based on the invoiced amount only.
GST invoices are sent on the first week of succeeding month.
Update correct GST number in your profile to have GST updated in your invoices. Any queries for change in invoice has to be made within 3 days of receiving the same.
Qikink stores all return(RTO) shipments for 100 days as individual products by opening and labelling each one.
Orders matching same SKU will be placed as re-ship orders and dispatched from the return inventory automatically.
Orders returned manually by the customers cannot be stored and re-shipped individually. Hence we request to give your address for manually returned orders.
After 100 days, orders will be sent back to your return shipping address. Update your return shipping address in your profile section accordingly.
No product or order of yours will be discarded for any reason.

There are multiple ways to add designs while placing the orders.
Designs needs to be minimum of 150 DPI for apparel and accessories printing.
Design files needs to be in PNG format for DTG, Vinyl printing methods and JPG format for sublimation printing.
For orders without design files or files with background or files in different format are marked as “Action Required” and needs your immediate action.
Qikink cannot be responsible for orders delayed due to “NO DATA” status. Those orders will be re-queued again and will take 2-3 days to dispatch once issues are solved.
Vinyl printing and glow in dark design files needs to be in single colour without very small items.
Screen printing design files to be in original ai or cdr or psd format.
Glow in dark printed products has to be exposed to light before checking for the glow.
Texture printing design files for UV printing requires ai files with textured layers
Custom size sticker design files needs the design to be in exact size of sticker.
Qikink provides free custom labelling on all courier covers to promote your brand to your customers. Your logo design should be in black and white color and it needs to be fitted in 3×3 inches. This option can be opted in or out by adding or removing the logo design in your profile page.
