The GST Council has notified that sellers on e-commerce platforms who are unregistered and are supplying goods with a turnover of up to Rs 40 lakh and services with a turnover of up to Rs 20 lakh can make an intra-state supply from October 1, 2023.
The council has recommended the scheme will effect from Oct 2023. Considering the time required for the development of the requisite functionality on the portal as well as for providing sufficient time for preparedness by the e-commerce operators, stated by the council.
Ozon is an eCommerce platform like Amazon in Russia is coming to India after they launched services in China and Turkey. The Chief Executive of the company said that sellers in India can use this opportunity to sell products in Russia. Although orders are doubled this year compared to the previous one, he added.
The demand for Indian products like Clothing, Jewelry, and interior decoration is booming among Russian consumers. China already started selling electronics and other products with more than 10,000 sellers. Through the Ozon Global program, the platform is all set to invite Indian sellers very soon.

Start with an influencer promoting your product with simple photos. “New” content with a holiday theme can work better among customers.
